2. Access Your Domain’s DNS Settings:

  • Once logged in, click on your name in the top right corner and select 'My Products.'

  • In the 'Domains' section, find the domain you want to configure and click 'DNS' next to it. This will take you to the DNS Management page.

3. Add MX Records:

  • On the DNS Management page, scroll down to the 'Records' section.

  • Click on 'Add' to create a new record.

  • In the 'Type' dropdown, select 'MX'.

    • Priority: 10

    Click 'Save.'

  • Repeat the process to add the second MX record:

    • Host: @

    • Points to: mx2.improvmx.com

    • Priority: 20

    Click 'Save.'

4. Delete Any Existing MX Records:

  • In the 'Records' section, look for any existing MX records other than the ones you just created.

  • Click the trash icon next to each unwanted MX record to delete it.

  • Confirm deletion if prompted.

5. Add TXT Record for SPF Support:

  • Click on 'Add' to create a new record.

  • In the 'Type' dropdown, select 'TXT'.

  • Fill in the fields with the following information:

    • Host: @

    • TXT Value: v=spf1 include:spf.improvmx.com ~all

    Click 'Save.'

6. Review and Confirm:

  • Review all the records in the 'Records' section to ensure they match the details provided above.

  • Make sure no unwanted MX records are listed.

That's it! Now you just have to wait for the DNS changes to propagate, which can take up to 24 - 48 hours, although normally much sooner.

Once our system has detected the DNS changes we'll notify you and you'll be ready to go!

By following these steps, you will configure your GoDaddy DNS settings to work with ImprovMX, ensuring proper email forwarding and SPF support.
